The demo of the long-awaited NBA 2K21 is now available to all PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users. They just have to enter the store of their respective system and download the demo of the new installment of the series for free.

On this demo, gamers can choose four teams, the Milwaukee Bucks led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Los Angeles Clippers led by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George as current season teams.

In addition, two legendary teams are also available: Kobe Bryant’s Los Angeles Lakers and Larry Bird’s Boston Celtics, so you have the chance to relive the greatest classic in the history of the league with a luxury All-Time Rosters.

Here is the NBA 2K21 demo trailer, in which you will see the Lakers and Celtics legends face off on the court.

As we mentioned in an article weeks ago, the most important novelty regarding the gameplay of NBA 2K21 are the improvements in the Pro Stick, with new mechanics that will grant greater precision in shooting and dribbling skills of the players.

The shooting timing bar has been replaced with a much more precise aiming system, which can only be used by moving the right stick down, leaving the other directions for crossovers and movements.

In the same way, users will be able to start to think about of their NBA MyTEAM teams and analyze in which players it will be worth to buy 2K21 MT Coins to add them to their squads.

On the other hand, in the demo you can also try MyPLAYER, a game mode that has set the tone throughout the saga and is beloved by veteran players.

A small novelty that can be noticed in the demo is that users will now be able to create taller point guards that exceed 6’7 in height.

In the MyPLAYER section, users can choose a position and its basic attributes, in order to create the player that best suits their tastes and needs.

Likewise, 2K clarified that you can transfer the players you created in the demo to the final version of NBA 2K21 when it launches on September 4.

The developers have also announced that the overall points of the players will be updated after the end of the current 2019-2020 season, so the performance that the athletes in these playoffs will affect the points that they will have assigned in NBA 2K21.

Unfortunately, players will not be able to play with the cover athlete Damian Lillard in this demo, so they will have to wait for the game’s official release to hit those famous far-away triples.

Meanwhile, everything is set for fans of the series to get their first look at one of the most anticipated sports titles of the year. Will NBA 2K21 meet the expectations of all fans of the saga?

NBA 2K21 will hit the stores on September 4, 2020 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The NBA 2K21 release date for next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X hasn’t been confirmed yet. MTStacks store will have the NBA 2K MyTeam coins as soon as the game officially releases.
